湯の国会館に行ってきた。

This day I went again to 湯の国会館 at Aobane, Izu city.

This day was the 3rd visit to this 立ち寄り天然温泉。
Perhaps because it was noon of this Thursday, the hot spring was not congested.
It would be true to say that it was next to or almost empty.
To those who want to enjoy hot spring bathing, it was the perfect condition.
I love the empty condition ! without other people.

This day I started in getting into its open-air bath first of all
after washing my body inside of the bath room.
Soon after I got myself soaked in the bath,
I felt something which cling to my body skin.

It was the touch – a slippery touch I love very much.
It was the sense I can feel greasy.
The sense is obtainable when you take a sulfate spring
or simple spring which has higher pH like pH9.0 for example.
Its effect will be stronger if the spring has its content of metasilicic acid
exceeding 100mg in the hot spring of 1kg.

What is good is that this 湯の国会館has its hot spring of pH9.3
and I can feel perhaps having high content of the metasilicic acid
although I have not yet confirmed about it.

The location of the open-air bath is wonderful – you can see
the flow of the river of that famous Kanogawa river just in front of you
which is covered by abundance of green trees.
You can watch the flow of water running in the Kanogawa.
Today I spent some 3 hours and half there and came home feeling refreshed.

Its value cannot be sensed unless you experience it actually.
It’s really beyond description.
