Super express Nozomi (Shinkansen) [blog]

https://youtu.be/q-jV_aplw50

I upload this video to those who might be interested in Japan's
Super express Nozomi.

This was filmed on Jan 1st 2018 at Shin-Osaka station.

You will see that it's a long-connected trains - free seats are available
at trains no. 1 to 3. If you buy a ticket for free seat - not reserved - you can
get on whichever train of the day. That's why you will have no worry to miss
the train.

But, if you want to get a ticket reserved just you, it would be
recommendable to get the one you will have enough time to get on the train.
Because it's a long train, if the time is short, you might be unable to reach
the door of the reserved seat train.

In my opinion, if you feel interested in looking at Mount Fuji on the way
to Tokyo from Osaka or Kyoto or Nagoya, you should take the left window seat,
because the Fuji will appear on your left if on a train bound to Tokyo.

However, it depends on the condition of Fuji. Fuji cannot be seen clearly always.
Sometimes Fuji is covered by clouds. So, it's simply lucky if you can see Fuji.
Actually I was not lucky this New Year's day. I could see it partially though.

Depending on the time of being on the Shin-kan-sen, you can buy " Bento"
for lunch or supper on the train too. But, it would be good to buy in advance
at the stores of station to bring it in to eat on the train. Perhaps you can enjoy
a kind of Japanese culture by eating "Bento".

In the case of Nozomi, the time required to reach Tokyo station starting from Shin-Osaka
station, will be 2 hours and half. I understand that the rough distance between Osaka
and Tokyo is 500km, and the running speed for business is said to be at 300km/h.

Come to Japan and try Shin-kan-sen by all means.
